It is impossible to determine how many pornographic sites exist on the Internet. New ones are created all the time and old ones are deleted. Old ones are deleted every day. Nevertheless, it goes without saying that even if we were somehow able to figure that number out, it would be enormous. Because there are so many porn sites, that means there are also a lot of shitty sites. And only some of them are really good.

So it is with these standards in mind that I am going to look at the Japanese porn site known as Avgle. The name of this site, at least judging by its logo, is a play on "Google." At the very least, it definitely borrows the iconic lowercase font and multicolor aspect of the Google logo. That being said, I would assume that the "AV" in Avgle is Adult Video or Japanese Adult Video (JAV). This means that Avgle is making a pretty big statement from the beginning that they are Google for Adult Video. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen.

When you go to the Avgle homepage, it looks quite familiar, like a porn movie site. You have a menu bar at the top of the page, and a bunch of thumbnails at the bottom, grouped into different sections; in Avgle's case it's "videos you watch", a list of categories, "Featured Videos", "Hot Videos" and "Latest Videos". Everything is very standard for such sites.

Above the thumbnails is a menu bar, simple and not too cluttered. You can choose from "Videos," "Dating," "VR," "Collections," "Categories," "Live Sex," and "Downloads," and there's a search bar. Of course, there's something to be said for the number of full-length HD movies (that's hundreds or thousands of hours of content); more hours of porn are available on Avgle than in your lifetime. You certainly won't run out of motherThe design of the site is pretty decent (not cluttered or sloppy), there's a wide variety of content (both traditional porn and VR), there's more porn than you'll ever see in a lifetime, and it's all very high quality. This site has to be one of the best porn sites I've ever seen.

Maybe someday they'll clean it up and get rid of the ads. Until then, I'll probably have sex elsewhere.
