Ellady With the seemingly endless number of porn tube sites, porn aggregator sites, and other video-only sites, it's easy to forget about the wonderful world of pornographic photography. I hate to admit it, but even I am guilty of abandoning arguably the most classic porn format in lieu of all the HD video available at the stickiness of my fingertips. But I don't think we should so easily abandon sites that deal with images, especially images of sexy amateur women.

I think we all remember finding our first nude magazine as a child. It was hidden under my brother's mattress or given to me by a friend who found it in my father's closet. It was thanks to a retro Playboy that my stepfather had hidden away that I first saw a woman naked.

When I opened that Playboy and for the first time discovered the boundless beauty of the female form, her curves, her soft skin, and the mystery of the vagina finally solved for a 10-year-old boy, I felt more than words can describe my excitement. Years later, I was delighted and even more excited to learn that women could shave their hair.

Throughout my teenage years, I would stay in my room and masturbate as if the whole world was like that. Well, in my case, I did. Puberty is no joke. But I am sure you can relate. Most of us never grew out of that period.

Then came the Internet and a never-ending inventory of hardcore porn videos. Frankly, it was a huge improvement in many ways from the tedious videos I was dripping with when I was younger. Why did I decide to return to image pornography now?

I want something more real and graphic, and amateur porn provides exactly that. The downside, of course, however, is that amateur porn videos are very amateurish.

Diverse Amateur Pornographic Images

El-Ladies specializes in amateur pornography photos. Well, actually, the term "amateur" may be used a bit too loosely. They divide their photos into categories, some of which are clearly labeled "amateur" and some of which are not. And some of those photos look professional. So when I say "amateur" I mean that there are no photos of famous porn stars on this site, no screen captures or anything. Even the photos that do look professional are of girls I've never seen before, so in that sense, they are amateur photos as well.

El-Ladies features a wide range of categories (the site calls them "niches"), but definitely seems biased toward mature ones. Choose from niches such as ass, babe, BDSM, big dick, kinky, lesbian, kinky, hairy, hardcore, and interracial (to name a few), and at least half of each category features older women. The site also links directly to amateur photography sites dedicated to MILFs and to Ero Profile (an online pornographic dating site with a predominantly older audience).

Nevertheless, there are quite a few young women (18-25 years old) on this site. In fact, the first thing that struck me about this site was the sheer diversity. It's not every day that you come across a porn site that has so many great normal vanilla porn photos alongside categories such as piss, scat, BDSM, and bizarre. It also seems kind of nice that they don't feature these photos heavily on their homepage. If I had gone to el-ladies.com and seen pictures of grandmas getting shit on by gimps, etc., I would have left immediately. So it's a smart move on their part. It's certainly not my cup of tea, but if that's what you're into, you'll probably like this site (shitfreak).

Great site design, but missing a lot of features.

I also quite like the design of this site. It is simple, elegant, and minimalist. There are no extra or unnecessary bells and whistles. A white background, a simple and effective gray and pink menu bar, and medium-sized thumbnails of amateur photos scattered in a gallery format, it has everything you need: just click on one, and the page unfolds; click on another, and you're on your way; click on another, and the page unfolds; click on another, and the page unfolds; click on another, and you're on your way. No nonsense, just porn.

However, I think the media viewer could be improved. For example, there is no way to click through from one photo to the next (you have to exit the window and return to the page to see the next photo). In addition, there is a link above every photo with a caption like "Mature, MILF, Mom, Grandma, Old and Young" that takes you to another photo site, "mature.nl". While this is not the most annoying way to advertise on your site, it is really unprofessional and misleading.

Another aspect of El-Ladies is the fact that it lacks many of the features one would expect from a photo archive site. First, it does not provide any information about the photos at all. In other words, there is no way to find and follow the source of the photos. It is also not tagged, no related images are provided, and there is no community feature.

I understand and respect Elleady's goal of "no bullshit, only porn", but can't they add the ability to comment on photos? I don't think that would preclude pornography. Rather, I think allowing comments would enhance pornography by allowing users to discuss the photo and share what they know about it.

In particular, if you are not going to provide a source for the photo, at least make it possible to crowdsource information about the photo. In this day and age, it is a hoot to see porn sites that do not allow people to comment (or at least rate) their content. I think that should be the industry standard at this point.

Another complaint I have with El-Ladies is its size. With only 42 pages of pictures, there is not much content to choose from. You could probably click through all the photos on the entire site in an hour or two and be done. The folks at Elle Ladies are strongly advised to step up their content curation game and seriously expand if they expect to continue to compete with the online porn giants that dominate the Web.

As for advertising, this site isn't that bad. There are no pop-ups or anything that would slow down your experience (or computer), you just find them to be invasive on the right side of the photo viewer. On the other hand, many of the links in the menu bar are technically ads, but at least they link to similar or related sites, such as the El-Ladies tube site, cam sites, MILF sites, Ero Profile, and another amateur site. So it's not great, but it certainly could be worse.

All in all, El-Ladies has some sexy pics. I would love to see more from them. I think some key features are missing, but I respect that they are hyper-focused on what is most important: pornography.
