Minimalist junk, functional design

First of all, the design is superb: the people who created HPJAV knew what they were doing, and they made a truly beautiful presentation here. All the tabs are in the right place and the layout is spot on. I don't often say that about a site that uses pink as an accent color. But HP JAV made good use of it, and this minimalist, functional design works wonders for this site.

The iconic Asian porn posters are back, and ugly as always.

So, what does this site offer? Well, like all JAV porn sites, it displays poster-style thumbnails, which I hate. I hate these posters with all my heart. It is a designer's worst nightmare. I honestly don't understand the point of putting up these shitty posters and why people in Asia think this is a good idea in the first place. Wouldn't it be better to simply take one cut from a porn video and use it as a thumbnail? This is not limited to HPJav.tv, but every JAV site I've ever seen.

Come on, I really don't understand this thought process. Did you think, "Let's cram as much tiny text and images as possible into the thumbnails so no one can tell what the video is about"? If so, congratulations, you have done exactly that. This poster, warning the world of the radiation effects of a nuclear bomb explosion, is not only confusing, it is ugly. I have been there because the thumbnail is so bad.

To compensate for the thumbnail design, I have included an uncensored section.

It's not all terrible, however, as the "Uncensored" section of the site shows the normal thumbnails you would find on any other porn site. This section is probably designed for Western viewers who don't like to see two blurbs collide and be called pornographic. But if you want a real Asian vibe, you will have to deal with inky vaginas and penises, because that really shows that the porn is real.

The videos in the uncensored section are great. There are some great videos that will get the blood flowing to your dick faster than you can say konnichiwa, and there are some not so great videos that will make you want to nuke yourself for the third time, or nuke yourself, or both. We really need to stop mentioning nuclear weapons. But as I said earlier, most videos however, don't worry, these guys think about it too, and even go through all the ads and refuse to play the video because they have to disable the ad blocker. This is just grade A bullshit.

If you don't mind struggling with ads all day long to watch porn videos, this place is great. There are some great videos, but the ads get in the way of my enjoyment and really piss me off. But I guess you can't have them all. Besides, some other JAV porn sites have much worse ad systems. So in the end, if you want to have a good time with sexy Asian porn, you have to deal with it.

The site has features that make navigating it easy and trouble-free. The search bar is there to help you whenever you need it. In addition, the "Categories" tab showcases a variety of genres and tags. I confess I don't know half of these.
