Tumbex.com doesn't immediately sound like the kind of site you browse after you spread out a crushed Viagra on a Starbucks bathroom counter. The name is a combination of Tumblr and Index, and that's exactly what the site does. As the title says, it provides "access to all blogs with optimized design and optimized navigation," especially if you've seen the front page of Tumblr, full of SFW memes, cat pictures and motivational quotes, essentially about it. There would be nothing sexy about it.

If you had no reason to open another bottle of lotion when looking at what Tumblr has to offer, you would already know that I'm not talking about Tumbex here on ThePornDude. More than five million people visit this site every month, how many of them know what I know. Spoiler alert: I already know that many of them use Tumbex to find a stash of free X-rated content hidden on Tumblr.

Tumblr sucks, but that makes it better

Tumblr.com has been around since 2007 and has carved out its own niche in social networking. For a while it was a hive of dirty movies, kinky porn and hardcore porn. At the peak of its popularity, it was estimated that more than 20 percent of the content was naked women, spanked couples, weird lesbians and extreme gangbangs. By any standards, it was an interesting place to be.

That all changed on December 17, 2018, when the site announced a total ban on adult content. For about a year after acquiring the Yahoo site, they had been slowly moving toward a goal they couldn't ignore. Their first step was to introduce a restrictive safe mode that would be enabled by default, effectively hiding a stream of depravity from viewers.

This system was always false, both in theory and in practice. Many non-pornographic content was flagged and children's Pokemon blogs were banned, but what really suffered were fans of debauchery - Tumblr even shot itself in the foot as page visits and app downloads plummeted.

I was looking through recent posts tagged #sex on Tumblr, and it was damn hard to find anything that made my dick tense. Mostly memes and jokes, with occasional shots of underwear. The beauty of Tumbex.com is that you can easily find porn that has been banned on Tumblr.

Tumbex has a very simple setup. There are several search strings at the top of the home page. Type in a keyword, or use the second field if you already know the name of the tumblog you want to get to.

This won't immediately come in handy for onanists who aren't already familiar with at least some of their favorite Tumblr pages. Obviously, if you don't know the names, you won't be able to type them into the box. Even worse, the search engine uses Tumblr's and bans words like Porn, Anal, Erotica, Hentai and Dildo. How can you find phap stories if the system doesn't work very well because of Puritans and Karen.

Scroll down a bit on the Tumbex home page and look at the last Tumblr section you saw - remember, I said I'm pretty sure most Tumbex users masturbate. That's how I know. Most of the Tumblr I've been looking at lately is filled with adult content.

I wish I had known this before, when I was trying to get my flaccid dick inflated with Simpsons memes and inspirational poetry; this section of Tumbex is like a treasure map to the nudity and pornography buried in the vast corridors of Tumblr.

Tumblr offers a wide variety of content, and that hasn't changed since I found my way to the good stuff - Tumbex has all kinds of obscene photos and movies instantly available from the "Last seen on Tumblr" area.

A random click brings up a Japanese skirted movie, an Indian woman's blowjob, a collection of transvestite GIFs, and a tumblog devoted to rubbing, spanking and fondling big, juicy women's butts. There are in-depth galleries of big-breasted women, Asian nymphets, publicly lewd women and furry porn with anthropomorphic animals fucking each other. There's also male-to-male fucking and sucking, as well as homo.

What's in vogue. Debauchery, of course.

If I have a complaint about the simple design of Tumbex.com, it is that it is perhaps too simple. Aside from a half-helpful search bar and the most recently viewed Tumblrs, there is only a very small trending area. Here are four Tumblrs, which I assume were chosen based on how much attention each gets through Tumbex.

So what constitutes a trend. Come on. You probably already know what people who use this site are viewing. It's not the cute animals or COVID-19 gags featured on the main site.

One of the trending blogs at the moment is a gay fetish extravaganza, which is not my cup of tea.I like the Bondage Girl blog better, with thousands of photos and GIFs of beautiful women, bound and gagged. Another hot blog is full of gorgeous women posing in pictures and getting laid in GIFs. It is also interspersed with photos of food, proving that this pervert is a real foodie. And finally, the last photo featured is a pornographic photo with added captions, turning the whole thing into a cuckolding scenario.

Aside from this pederast blog featured on Tumbex, all of their trending material can be viewed. In fact, I'd like to have more than four.

Moreover, I wish the "Last Tumblr Viewed" section was deeper, longer, more complex and easier to index because clicking on "More" brings up hundreds of Tumblr's, most of them with adult content, but it's hard to tell what those sites are before you click on them. Some have suggestive names and blatant profile icons, but most have meaningless names and plain icons. Whichever map you choose, it's probably pornographic, but the type isn't surprising.

Selecting a porn blog from the Tumbex index gives you a brief description of the blog, which isn't much different from the Tumblr layout, but I found it more useful for viewing blogs that have been flagged as sensitive. There's no need to log in and fumble with the settings like on the main site.

One thing I noticed while browsing this site is that most of the porn is old. I remember saying that perverts jumped ship when Tumblr banned adult content, and when browsing blogs on Tumbex, most of them haven't been updated in years, so that's really it. It's pretty damn clear. This place isn't the same anymore, and no special backdoor like Tumbex is going to change that.

When I first started looking at this site, I used to get stray pop-under. Then my ad blocker was set up and I didn't get any other spam during my visit. I don't see any ads on the sidebar or anything else, just a clean, simple layout and the messy animations, pictures and memes that go with it.

Honestly, Tumblr.com is not my favorite social media site. If I'm going to masturbate, I prefer sites that don't ban adult content - ThePornDude has a Snapchat Porn Sites section, which is easy to fix. than the family-oriented shit of Tumblr. regular old people. Instagram is easier to masturbate to.

Tumbex.com is really changing the game. While the search capability may be useful for those who already masturbate on Tumblr, the site's real strength lies in its indexing and linking to real adult content. This is what Yahoo was trying to hide when it brought the site down, and it's a really good thing: If you want to enjoy the user-generated content shared on Tumblr, Tumbex is an indispensable tool for the cummerbund.
